When Ruffian went down that day on July 6, 1974, people laughed. She was in pain. Some people said that she won a perfect 10-for-10, but it was really 11. When she went down, she was ahead of Foolish Pleasure. One of my adult friends, Jackie, sells Throughbreds. She is also in a program to help end the death of Thoroughbreds. Thoroughbreds matter because they are horses, and if we care about horses, we should care about Thoroughbreds. They suffer a great deal of pain. They are sent off to slaughter, euthinized(put down),ect. All horses matter. I wonder why they make these horses run their hearts out?
